The Lion

We made a trip to our zoo again and visited the big cats.



Eshetu met his first lions :)



The only animal who was reacting on Eshetu was Cleopatra, the female lion! She lies in wait and jumped in his direction. We made some great videos, but I have to convert them.

After that we talked to the keepers, they told us that Cleo has been growing up with a dog at a private place her first 4 years. When she moved to the zoo she was really missing her mate and still today she wants to play with every dog she is seeing. Our lion dog was a little bit confused by her behaviour :)

We also saw the bears which awaken from their winter sleep

Visiting the zoo

We are in the lucky position that we have a zoo a few steps from here where we can take Eshetu with us.

We met..

.. rabbits

.. a big white deer

..horses

..zebras

.. and the wild relatives:

Eshetu was rather excited in the beginning, but after some time he didn't notice all the free running rabbits, chicken and the peacocks which are sitting on the footpath.
